I do not own a capture card for my Switch. Is a capture card required for submissions or can I just record using my phone? I know it'll be a pain to verify but thats all I can do
Anything is allowed as long as the screen is clearly visible, and there is audio.
I dont use a capture card either, and I have submitted three recorded runs that were verified. After one of my submissions, the mod who verified my run said to make sure the date I got the moon was clearly visible, so keep that in mind.
Using Capture Card and uploading not from what nintendo allows is piracy against nintendo, it can lead an copyright claim that can get you in jail.
You aren’t going to get put in jail for uploading gameplay video. The most that they would do is have it taken down.
Huh, I guess let's plays probably hurt them but the people that watch them probably didn't like the game being played enough to buy it anyway if they're watching it
