I see a lot of people on the leaderboards using the SGB2, and I was wondering if the original Super Gameboy is allowed for SML speed runs.

The SGB is allowed but the time has to be converted as the SGB runs 2.4 % faster compared to the SGB2: https://nudua.com/convert
