I'm doing tas and I'm not able to do the fpg in phase 8-1, someone explains to me how it is done.

Do a perfect fast accel in the beginning in 8-1 (inputs are L+B, B, R+A,) then play the level normally and do an fpg setup(there are lots of them so search up "pl8-1 setup" on youtube.) Then jump off the last stair, holding a for 3 frames(I think,) then do d70 pole inputs.

when doing fast accel you’re doing a two frame jump iirc

MrunSR you need to do a one frame jump to get 1-9 flashing subpixels. some people think 2 but you cant save the frame rule unless you have super great subspeed and i dont even think with the extra frame save it would save it
