For anyone who doesn't really want to take the time to grind all your weapons, grenades, and eggs. There will be a pre set save in the resources section.
 
Please be aware that you should back up your save file first just in case if you want to actually keep your save file and have your own optimization with your inventory and such because you won't be able to save at all when you have successfully overwrite your file into mine.

Now to do this you want to have a USB and your PS3. First you want to download the link in the resources page that I have provided and it will have a folder named "PS3". Now hold on to the PS3 folder for a bit since you need to actually get your OWN RE4 file into the USB which will also say PS3 but will have your DATA but not mine. When you load up your PS3 go to "Save Data Utility" and find your RE4 file and press triangle and press x on copy. Copy your save file into the USB and wait for it to be copied on to your USB. After that is done you need to take out your USB from your PS3 and plug in your USB into your PC and open your USB folder and overwrite my folder with yours. (heads up again make sure to BACK UP your file first just in case if you want to keep your file). After it's done replacing the files with mine then just take out your USB and plug your USB back into your PS3 again and go to "Save Data Utility" again but this time go find your USB and paste the RE4 data into yours so it can overwrite. It will say it is another users file which is fine but remember you won't be able to physically save in game since it's my file. After the copy and pasting is done then you are ready to speedrun RE4 with no problems! I hope this helped with any runners running PS3 and have a wonderful time running RE4! (You can do the same method as in Xbox but it will require someone to get their data from their xbox to the usb so no worries!)

Hello! I have updated the save file and I have changed a few things in the save. No, I didn't unlock the handcannon yet but the Broken Butterfly has been added to the inventory. One of our fellow runners ShadowZero81 will be making a video about how to edit the save where you can actually overwrite my save and then you can save in-game!
