Basics to begin with Assisted NG+(and the speedrun of RE3R in general)

Hi everyone , i'm running the game on NG+ assisted with infinite launcher and i want to share some tips with you that also partly work on other categories.
(PB is 50:43 with sum of best 49:35)

1 - Items : 
Since it's NG+ we will empty our inventory at the first box and grab the 2 "quest" items in slot 1 and 2 (to win a bit of time using them) then the rocket launcher and one of each piece (i'm currently experiencing with this and it seems that in the end we will take 2 pieces of attack and maybe one healing to be safe because you shouldn't be hit except for the last Nemesis form) and lastly the chris redfild guide to make dodge easier (i don't think you really need it since it's assisted mode but never tried without it).

2 - Route :
You have to think about what to do next before it's happening so you don't lose time trying to remember or worse , opening the map. You also need to know where are ennemies since it's very consistent , they never change place and trying 20 times the same route around them will end up with 20 times the same result.
You'll also need to avoid things that aren't on your route like inventory extensions, only the last one should be grabbed (the one before the 3 fuses)
I can only advise you to try few attempts to learn zombies placement and who you can avoid with a dodge, and who you have to kill with launcher.

3 - Some tips (I keep this part updated) :
	- Like RE2 remake, i believe pressing breifly the aiming button on stairs gives you a little boost.

	- Pressing the sprint button after a succesfull dodge gives you a little boost aswell

	- Having a radio conversation freezes the in-game time , so use it to your advantage and walk as far as the conversation last.

	- After shooting with the laser gun against the Last boss, you can re-plug all 3 generators at once. To do so you have to face the boss and head to the left generator, once close you have to shoot the 2 weak points of the boss so it falls. Plug the first one , then do the one on the back right, and finish with the last on front right. As it succesfully plugs, the boss would either hit you or have a charged attack , just dodge it and head to the laser gun for the final blast.

	- Don't combine key items in your inventory, wait to press "action" on the spot you need the combined item, it saves a little bit of time.

	- Only one inventory extension is needed for Jill and you can grab it on your route to Nikolai (on saving room before the 3 fuses map).

	- Try to aim far from you with launcher so your character doesn't play the blast cover animation. You will really feel the difference if you never get interrupt once by the blast

	- Near the end, when you're force to walk with Tyrell, you can actually reach the end of the corridor by using the dodge button.

         - After the scripted walk on the subway with Carlos (when you first meet him) , he can boost you to the subway cinematic. To do so you have to run and hug the crate on the left, you'll see Carlos pushing you ahead but you have to go a little bit to the right so he doesn't push you to his left and make you lose time. Let's call it "Carlos Surfing"

         - You can use multiple dodge to get a speed boost as long as the recovery is canceled by a cinematic or a radio call (credit : Lazyan ["Bowszer" on youtube])

Extended Assisted NG+ Tips and Trick

Final Nemmy on Inferno

Hello boys and girls.

This "guide" is more about things i learned on this boss on Inferno, than a complete and definitive guide. 
Why ? Well, that's all the problem. You will see, or you already now, and in that case i hope you didnt fell into madness and a deep depression, that this boss is completely crazy.

If you remember the T-Rex at the end of Dino Crisis, well its was a pretty fun fight. Or even more recently the Super Tyrant on Resident Evil 2 Remake, wich is nice and simple. Thats not final Nemmy, this boss has been design by madmen who wants you to suffer. I have 15 to 20h of practice, and im gonna try to help you. 

First thing first : If you are dying 10 times in a row, thinking "am i such a bad player ?' well dont worry you are probably not. I was thinking i was ok, but final Nemmy destroyed all my conviction.

Lets see why.
Well, at the first place, he has a lot of patterns. I counted seven but its very confusing because some are similar. But let's analyse a normal fight, with good paterns.
At the begining you will go to the left of the map, between two batteries, and he will smash the ground multiple times, before a big smash. You dont care because you will be safe beetween the two batteries.
More or less but we will talk about your worst ennemy in this fight just after. 

So, at this point you will shoot the two weak points at the left and one on the chest. 
Try to go to the right when you finished the first two and continue with the chest. If he's in a good mood he will do a sweep with this arm, right to the middle then left to the middle and once again right to the middle. Be careful because the right is going slighly further than the left. 
And do not use the auto aim when you dodging the right arm, because Jill will aim the weak point near the head and you will lose time.

So, right now you have the 3 weak points to the right and maybe one on the chest. 
Lovely Nemmy will do his third pattern, smashing the ground. One quick, one delay, do not dodge immediately or you will die, and one quick. Remember ? Dodge, wait, dodge, dodge. 
With this attack, you have plenty of time to destroy the last weak points, but leave one at the right. If you are confident and with practice you can destroy the last and immediately push the first batterie, but i recommend to push just a frame and going back. Nemmy will try to grab you, but it will also cancel his next attack. It will gave you the time to place Jill at the batterie, shoot the last weak point and push the batterie immediately.
Now we are going to push the second batterie at the right. The timing is very short but its ok.
I recommend to run and dash two times then grab the second batterie.

Before the last phase, one thing : the fight i just described will happened 90% of the time. 90% because sometimes this patterns wont be the same. Sometimes he will just wait 5 secondes and you wont do a thing because you just don't know what the fuck is going on, sometimes he will do random attacks, or even some attacks you have never seen before. Be prepare for anything, practice this fight again and again. 
And if he roaring at you, you can dodge at the beginning or press like a madman the left button of your mouse. You will be able to move and dodge the smash

We enter the last phase, who can be tricky but...well, its a nightmare, but every part of this boss is wrong. 
So, after pushing the batterie you will run to avoid his grab and shoot the 3 weak points near you, obviously, but do no stay in this corner. You must run, look back and shoot one, and do the same for the three.
At this point there are a few options : 
1/The sweep from the left arm, wich is ok because its the same than the first phase. 
2/He will smash the ground 3 times, still the same pattern than before with the second smash delay. 
3/If you are close to him, he will do a sweep with this two arms, wich is also good for us. 

And thats the good part, because he has also another attack, the worst, when he is gonna smash the ground very quickly. Lets talk about this one : Nemmy will smash a minimum of 4 times before a delay and another smah, BUT, sometimes its 5 and a delay, or 6 and a delay. Good news is, he's doing most of the time 6 smash then a last after a delay on this phase, but not always.
I recommend you to not attack between smash, stay focus and look a the ceilling. It will be easier to see something and dodging.
Sometimes he will also do the same smashing than the very beginning, multiple times then one big, but be careful. One time he's gonna do the final smash at the middle of the arena, sometimes on you. Just dodge in any case. You must find some kind of mix between shoot the weak points as fast as you can and look a the boss for avoiding attacks. Do not be greedy.
Well, all of this is the theory, but let's see why this fight can be so hard.

The acid. The acid is gonna be your worst nightmare, because it can end you a good run, just like that. But how does this horror works ? 
When you destroy a weak point, three shots of acid will spread somewhere on the map. 
It can be on the ground far from you or on the wall, but it will be mostly on poor Jill's feet. 
Acid does not make any damage, but makes you stop doing whatever you are doing. 
So, if im taking acid just before dodging any attacks ? Dead. If im gonna push the first batterie ? Its over. 
If i can give you just one tips about that : Do not shoot the weak point of the right before pushing the batterie. Leave one at the left. You will lose some seconds for aiming this one, but the acid will never get on you. And one other thing, and this one makes me sad, but the faster you are destroying weak points, the more you gonna take acid on you. 

And for the last, i recommend you to start training this boss before the run.
Because if you dont know perfectly this boss, your run can be perfect but in the end you will be fucked.

I hope this "guide" will help you in this nonsense nightmare, and next time, TAKE THE FUCKING HINT !

How to 1 Cycle Clock Tower Nemmy (Standard)

The key to getting this down is not spamming the grenade launcher too much. There are key parts in which you want to shoot in order to maximise the amount of time Nemmy spends in front of you.

The fight opens up like it normally does, run right, shoot low when you see his left arm go behind his back, grab the flame rounds. There will be fire in between you and nemmy, you're going to have to dodge through that (it can take some getting used to) then run on up to his front. 

Update: Fire 2 shots into the heart, combine, then get off a 6 more shots to the heart and a flame round, Nemmy should now be below 65% and dropping.This should now force him to roar, his “cooldown” on being stunned from flame rounds expires after his roar so use this to your advantage, stun him and empty your shotgun shells into him, if you get chance try sneaking in another flame round here before he runs off. If you’re quick enough it is possible to get roar skip (you will have to use a mine round though to allow you enough time to reload your shotty; A flame round will not stun him if he is still burning, but you can recycle the stun by doing mine round to skip roar and then another flame round afterwards).

He now begins his 1st cycle, above the swat van, make sure to let him pass the first time so you can grab the ammo.

Update2: If his health drops below 40% in the first phase (which is possible) he will do what I call his tantrum (he stomps around at the ground). Do not recycle the stun, use this time to place a mine round/reload your shotgun/grab the ammo. Also you will want to adjust the placement of the mine to the bus, not the van as it will miss if you place it above the van in this situation.

If you follow where I shoot he will always land in the same spot, shoot a flame round at the ground near his feet (not too close) and you will set him on fire.... unload your 6 shells, reload, shoot him with one more flame round (before he gets back up). Nemmy will now have a temper tantrum, (this will be skipped if you got it in phase 1 and instead he will attack so priority on reloading the shotgun before shooting the flame round is better in this situation) stay close enough to shoot him a couple of times, use the rest of the tantrum to reload, fire one last flame round for a stun and shoot like mad. If you want to guarantee tantrum in after the 2nd phase, do not put his health below 40% in the first, then Nemmy will always tantrum after his first knock down after the wall (assuming you don’t shoot your flame shot too late to skip it)

I'll go through all phases of the fight step by step. This will help you understand this tricky fight better and slay.

- do apartments
- after you grab the Pistol move far right and you will skip the sign falling animation
- grab Pistol Ammo at Dario
- perfect dodge elevator zombie
- stand in front of Carlos right when he is about to kick the door open
- far door on train to leave
- run hard left after Shutter
- grab Pistol Ammo on barrel
- Pistol Ammo right counter in Diner
- look backwards as you pick up the Water Hose at Railway Control
- head back to Hydrant

- jump out window and hop the bench

- shoot the Red Squares on the one he is hiding behind
- Shotgun his exposed heart
- then swap to Grenade Launcher when he gets up and shoot him
- reload Shotgun
- shoot the Red Squares
- shoot Flame rounds when he falls
- grab the Ammo and Heals behind him
- lay into him with Shotgun, Flame Rounds and Pistol when out of the other 2

FINAL

- run forward keeping left
- 180 and open the SUPER GUN
- Heals and Ammo to the right
- shoot his glowing blobs with the Pistol
- try and shoot the last blob next to a red Power Core
- get the rest of the Power Cores back to green
- SUPER GUN him again

Nightmare Mode Sewers Hunter Gamma Route/Reference

This was played on the PS4 Pro and I believe this could be applied to other platforms as well. 

- Pick up the grenade
- Throw it at the parasite zombies 
- Run past the first gamma while staying close to the left side
- After getting stunned by the second gamma, run straight to it's left and hit dodge using the 1 2 method  (As said by many many others before, this takes practice)
- Pick up battery pack
- For the upcoming third gamma, use dodge to get closer to the hole and DODGE AGAIN far away from it
- For the fourth gamma,  run straight to it's right and hit dodge using the 1 2 method (As said by many many others before, this takes practice)
- Right before the last gamma jumps out, aim your weapon to avoid the stun
- Dash quickly to the safety lock door
- Dash precisely to the battery pack 
- Turn around and as soon as you exit the door, SPAM DODGE AND HAUL ASS

Copying and pasting instructions I wrote down in the video description:

1) Get to the subway on a FRESH FILE.
2) Go to the typewriter for A/S/HC, NG+, Knife Only, Pistol Only or to the herbs for NM/Inferno.
3) Reset IGT back down to 0 using the Ultimate Trainer.
4) Let timer run unlocked after setting IGT to 0 for 15 seconds.
5) Lock the timer and set it back down to 0.
6) Make your save in correct spot using either the typewriter OR the trainer itself.
7) Close the trainer and test.

MAKE SURE YOU DON'T PICK UP ANY ITEMS BEFOREHAND.
DO NOT MOVE ANYTHING IN YOUR INVENTORY BEFOREHAND.
DO NOT MAKE CONSECUTIVE SAVES.
If you screw up in saving you need to go back to the subway on a fresh file before trying again.

Set DA for the following categories:

-Assisted: 2500
-Standard: 5500
-Inferno: 11500
-Hardcore and Nightmare should be at 9 and 10 rank respectively, neither higher nor lower.

Step into the door, aim to the left of the hunter (do not get too close and aiming directly at it seems to change the rng). If you're doing this right the hunter will jump at you every time. Cancel the aim and run to the corner of the bed to avoid the attack, then move on to the tape.

After picking up the tape, you want to rotate the camera back around quickly, looking up using the tiles to guide your line (as shown in the video). Be aware of where the hunters are and pay close attention as they can block your path a little (while trying not to look at them as much as possible).

IF you get the RNG where the 2nd hunter jumps on and off the bed. MOVE AWAY! Otherwise it will hit you (you can see me take a wider line when this happens in the video).
