so my laptop kinda bad and i followed the guide and was able to record demos. i checked the demos folder in source unpacks folder, and it's there, the folder named date-time and inside are .dem files pretty sure those are demo files right ?

so can i just submit a run with this demo files or do i have to playback and record a video ?

you can submit a run with only demos. ive done it with a few of my runs

From the game rules - "All runs HAVE to be submitted with some sort of proof in form of a video or demos." "Runs cannot be submitted with only demo proof if the game is paused mid-run."

In other words, YES, you can submit with just demos

dont put the link to your demos in the space for a video link, put it in the description instead. saves the verifiers a headache.
