Hello all, I'm starting to learn the any% route for Superstar Saga and I've got all the tricks leading up to Fungitown Jump down pat. I just can't seem to make it work. I get into position with 5 taps up and one tap left, do the Mario High Jump and jump with Luigi, but no matter what I try the screen gets locked in place and I get stuck; softlocked offscreen. I've tried tapping up after jumping with Luigi and I've tried holding up after jumping, I always get softlocked. Any tips for this? (I'm running the game off of a gba cart on my DS)

I did manage to do it after a handful of tries and I figured out the problem was moving before jumping with Luigi.
