Was watching a certain stteamer vid, obvious who it is, and the question popped up and did not get answer (not to my liking)
Sooooo is slow run not allowed? Is this why the 14D run is still the slowest?
do u think mods r actually willing to analyse over 336 hours of gameplay
No, which is why they should do what most moderators do when long runs are submitted. Which is skimming through the run to check for any major issues, rather than watch every individual second.
yea, if you are just gonna do a long play anyways what would you even cheat for lol
there's a time limit cuz we dont wanna waste our time verifying runs that nobody will watch. in fact the time limits are too high in my opinion. the time limits were implemented at a time when there was a ridiculous amount of runs being submitted, and removing the time limits would mean going back and verifying countless runs from 2 years ago.
well again, you can verify them pretty easily in the consideration that there is no real point on cheating a run you are playing for so long (you can just beat it legally if you are gonna play it like that lol)
@KilleDragon, I've tried to find out if the rules have a maximum time limit, but I don't think there is a hard limit.
The only thing that's said is this at rule A.3.9
A.3.9) Runs must not intend to be as slow as possible. At a minimum, an attempt must be made to finish the run quickly.
But it is kind of obvious if someone is playing the game slowly on purpose. But does this mean casual playthroughs might be rejected?
