I would like to start speedrunning with a 1.8 setseed, but the seed doesn't work properly for me, a lot of things aren't where they should be, the seed works perfectly for my mates.
Does anyone know how I can fix the problem?

Make sure ur all on the exact same version of 1.8.x

I've tried it with every 1.8 version, but none of them work.

Could you show an example? Also make sure there is no space at the end when you put in the seed and the right version is 1.8(.0)

make sure all your optifine settings are allowed, some of them mess with world generation

hmm can you show a vid of you just putting in the seed and creating the world?
