hello there, im new to speedrunning in general but i do minecraft bedrock speedruns and been thinking about TAS's as a small hobby, i never record my attempts seeing that my laptop is a total potato and if i record it will lag, plus i only came here for the forums.

Given that you describe your pc as a total potato it's probably unlikely this is the case, but on the off chance that your pc has an NVidia graphics card, NVidia Shadowplay offers you recording software completely free and you should barely even notice it running in the background. It may lack a lot of features OBS has, but when I had a semi-potato PC this sure worked for me.
