What's the best streaming device to use with PS2.  I'm gonna upgrade to it soon and I'd like to know what I should do.

Dude I’ve been using a “VHS to DVD converter USB/VGA adapter” as a cap card for the last two years and it only cost me £30 ($40?) from Amazon. That works just fine at streaming and recording output for runs in standard quality with no lag.

Plus you should definitely switch to a real console, the timesaves aren’t major but it puts you at the same standard as higher tier with loads.
