So after watching all the runs and the guides, I simplified the guides to only Button Input (for controller only) and uploaded to the guides section. Here's how to read the guide: https://www.speedrun.com/coffee_talk/guides/4lccc
"X" is for confirm button
"R-L-D" is for directional button Right-Left-Down
"5L" or "DR" means pressing left 5 times and Down Right
You can input the button as soon as the camera went zoomed out (even when the menu hasn't showed up yet)

@a_variety_pack I don't know about this but I try to recreate only Day 1 in Coffee Talk to compare with mbahwin run but I could not replicate it and I got 10 seconds slower than his 35 min run in Day 1 alone. I don't know what I do wrong. Maybe @mbahwin can explain.
ive also tried replicating, i know in coffee talk 2 running the game on full screen makes the text go faster, but i cant recreate this run either, ive tried fullscreen different aspect ratios, toggling auto text im also at about a 10 sec time loss
i recorded my day1 only and got 6 sec behind, but i dont know what makes my run faster compared to others. In my 35min run i used ds4windows for my controller to remap R2 to next button for livesplit, thats all i do. If this is not recreatable you can nullify my run and count it as cheating or smth.

I'm inclined to take the runner at their word that no mods were used. I'll be testing other ways to replicate the time. @mbahwin Does having more windows open affect your text speed, etc.?
I'm sorry, i don't get what you're saying, what's "having more windows open" mean? Did you mean like more application open? I don't get it (sorry my English is a little off)
