Does the emulator have to be DeSmuME. I tried downloading the visual studio community 2015 which is needed to run DeSmuME according to the wiki. I started downloading the visual studio and all of the packets were missing. I installed a different emulator No$gba and it works without having to download visual studio. Thanks.
DeSmuMe is usually preferred as it's just the standard for DS emulation these days and it's not easy to hide the use of it's TAS capability. In short, we know what it can do well.
(I've really been meaning to test the accuracy of MelonDS.)
However, I'm not a mod and can't say for sure. This is up to @Winterhof. I'm just somebody whose been meaning to run this game, but has been busy with other runs.
I'd prefer DeSmuMe, since it's something I'm used to. I'm open to changing the emulator rules to have the runner declare which emulator they're using, but I would still prefer DeSmuMe.
