Yes, after seeing the run showing it this looks to be a perfectly allowable strat, but for future generations please explain in layman's terms how to enter solo mode as player 2

well, i simply connect a controller to my pc but don't let it join, i just play as player 2 and my pc thinks player 1 is the controller but i didn't let player 1 join so i play as player 2
