Anyone know where i could get the Japanese version (PC) for this game? I found disc versions on Ebay, though not sure if they would be compatible with an EU disc drive etc.

so i tried with a japanese disc, i can install the game and everything. Though when i go to run the game nothing happens. The game sit in the background task.

Not sure how it is with Oath in particular, but I know playing the earlier unpatched versions of Ys I & II, and I think Ys Origin, your PC would need to have Japanese regional settings enabled. Said patch for Ys I & II actually made it so that Japanese mode wasn't necessary, but otherwise it was; probably something similar for Oath.
