When a new save is booted, all settings are reset. This accounts for volume, controls, difficulty, and graphics. The rules state that time starts the frame you load in to a new save. Is it possible to have the rules revised to allow for the editing of settings before a run starts? I would like the rules to allow for me to set my controls and other settings, save, and then start upon my first movement from the spawning position. This would also allow for faster resets as you would be able to simply exit and reload your save to restart as long as you didn't save during your run. If anyone has any other suggestions for how resets and settings should be delt with, please let me know.

Why don't any runners play on the "very easy" difficulty? It seems as though it would make runs significantly easier.

Hey, I'm looking to get back into some Undertale speedrunning but I'm now realizing that nearly every run has been performed on Linux. All I have available to do my runs on is a Macbook. If there is a major advantage to Linux, is it available on Mac?
