new update to rules? not sure what you mean... no amiibo, WR requires video (always required in WR cases), show difficulty clearly... how is that any different? just curious... did I miss something?

@Primal-Spire I agree with the logistics of option one, I mean, let the speedrunners sort out which character's layout is the fastest, in my opinion.

@AzizidarkReborn I like this list, but would also like multiplayer runs to be added somewhere. My preference is Guest Star Any% Multiplayer, but I'd be just as happy with Main Story Any% Multiplayer.

@Primal-Spire The second option is where each individual character gets it's own leaderboard based on the fact that level layouts and boss fights are different.

I vote for category with variables, if that counts for anything.

I mean, instead of muddying up IL leaderboards with 20+ individual Guest Star character boards, why not group them, regardless of layout differences, because eventually the top character to use will be the one used by top runners, and it will filter itself. If it doesn't and there is a good variety of characters chosen, then IMO that's a good thing for the category. Just my 2 cents.

@Demolition14 a little harsh, don't you think? I mean, I know it's the internet, but still uncalled for. @infinityJKA I can vouch that the demo levels are indeed different from the main game, albeit not by much, but a difference nonetheless.

Guest Star probably makes most sense as an IL leaderboard function. I noticed you have runs for Ultimate Choice up... can I submit Guest Star runs? Multiplayer and/or single player?

I want to run Guest Star, both Single player and Multiplayer.

Not my best run, but off by only a minute. I had framerate issues in the run before this one that was my best, but that one is on my channel as well. I hope this category becomes a thing so wife and I can start submitting officially.

I found that co-op allows for a few things that can make runs faster. Human allies can activate doors and revive player one upon death, allowing "all in" boss strats that would be too dangerous solo cause once player dies solo, the boss is reset.

Seems to me like this would be the most accessible mode to do speedruns in. If a category like this opens, do you think it will grouped be by individual main character pick, or just in general? Also, since this game has multiplayer as a core concept, do you think there will be a category that allows it? This game just screams "speedrun" at me, and I'd love to do some co-op speedrunning with my wife on my channel!

my wife and I did an any% run at midnight launch with a few friends on YT. looking forward to this category opening.
