Like if you notice in the clip where you got it to work the game lagged and froze for a tiny bit, thats how you know you got it.

So after you jump back in bounds and you hit the saving trigger you need to go more into that area where the saving trigger is, until your game lags, then you should be fine, hopefully you understand what i mean.

When you go back to hit the checkpoint for when you would normally enter the sewer you need to go more inside that little area till your game lags a bit, that way you will know you have it the "load trigger" if you game does not lag it means you missed the load trigger and the game will softlock upon going through the tunnel, hope this helps :D

You can skip chapter 3 on console, you just cant do most if not all the launches in the game.

I think you just need to hold square if im not mistaken? The headshot could be due to the angle or positioning of snake? I'm not sure.

Do you use the steam version of the game or are you playing the cracked version, cause if your playing the cracked version there is a chance the load remover might not work, it also might not work on the latest patch of the steam version also.

Yeah i thought that was funny myself, the way they patched the melee launch by literally making you stay in place when you melee while crouched lol

I added the patch to the resources, just replace that exe with the one in your steam folder and then your game will be downgraded and all glitches should work again.

Just downpatch the game.

If you bought the game on PS4 before the Xbox One version was released then you should still be able to walk through doors, if you bought it after the Xbox One version was released then sadly they patched it, although i do own the Outlast Trinity Collection and iirc i could walk through doors on that version of the game.

No, theres like 1 skip that saves about 45 seconds towards the end of the game, thats not enough to make a glitchless category.

There has been runs rejected before for changing the FOV, so i would say dont change it.

Isnt that game built around IL's in general tho? Anyway i have no idea, all i know is about 2 and a half years ago i requested Blade 2 with an IL run.

To be fair i did request the game nearly 3 years ago, so maybe that wasnt a rule back then?

And also, when i made the rules for PAL is was because only certain glitches could be done on the PAL version, and framerate does matter, it makes the IGT slower for NTSC which in turn makes the time faster for NTSC, so to keep it fair for the glitches and the times i made it PAL only, but like i said, nobody questioned these rules so if you had a problem with them you could have just messaged me, i would have no problem changing the rules a bit.

I didnt use the segmented run to submit the leaderboard, i used an IL speedrun i did, if you have a problem with the leaderboard then message me about it and i would have added a New Game category, the only reason i never added a New Game category is because the game is extremely hard to run RTA, hence why i made the segmented run, i made it to show what the speedrun had to offer, even with New Game Plus the game is still really hard to run, hence why i havent run it myself yet, if you looked at when the game was approved versus when i made the segemented run you will see i made the segmented run WAY after i requested the series board. Like i said, if you had any problems with the boards you could have just messaged me, not a problem.
