The community, as far as I know, hasn't discussed this much. I don't think a setting where you press and get multiple inputs automatically should be allowed for shooting though. There is an autofire category that utilizes the in-game autofire mechanic if you want to play without mashing.

This is amazing improvement. GG on getting such a good time so fast. I see you've learned the slow room skip as well.

I think that adding a second time after the credits is mostly pointless. You need to do two inputs to achieve the fastest end after beating the guy, those being skip credits and move left or right at end. I don't think anyone thinks you didn't beat the game if you die to the apple at the end too. I've always kinda thought of the credits death as an epilogue choose your own fate lol, live or die.

The in game timer is horribly incorrect usually. I retimed the run though. GL if you decide to keep doing more runs.

Just so you know, timing ends the moment the last eye is killed in the guy fight. This is easily seen because the fire disappears on the same frame the eye is killed. GGs

I think it should be fine. We have allowed autohotkey for this already. I currently have jump set to shift in game, but autohotkeyed so it also works with spacebar. We agreed a while back that would be fine for runs, so your situation should work too.
