I like the idea of creating something like scores.speedrun.com. While it may not fit the name exactly, a high score database definitely fits the theme and ideals of this website already.

So I'm thinking about trying to run Any% NMS since it's likely a bit easier for me to do than regular Any% right now, but a couple of questions.

First of all, is there a route out there that I can just copy, or do I just watch someone's run and copy the route from there?

Second, the rules say sequence breaks aren't allowed, but when I look at linky's run https://www.speedrun.com/run/9meg6l9y (since the 1st and 2nd place runs don't have videos) he gets N2 Red early. So I guess I just want to know what exactly is not allowed in Any% NMS.

A while ago I started documenting some of the RAM addresses in the game, but I stopped for a while. I've been sitting on this for probably a couple of years now, but hey, it might be useful to research how things work in the game and perhaps find more glitches. I'll probably pick this back up and start doing more documentation soon.

Actually I found a Discord server in the Wario World forum here that seems to be open to all Wario games. Nothing in particular right now (just trying to learn the tricks and the route), but I thought it would be good to join any community hangout spots.

Is there any kind of discord server for this community? Or even something like irc. I know there aren't many people here, but it would still be nice.
