Its been a while so I apologize for not giving much explanation of why we did ban it, we tested and had runners try all emulators and to our conclusion we banned duckstation, You are welcome to discuss it in our community discord regarding duckstation

For the timing we agreed upon when we choose the stage because the game starts at the point; you have item selecting during this time and we have found ways to optimally go through the loading screen keeping the speedrunner engaged into the run. For the end timing when Lord Mei Oh Hp reaches 0 you no longer have control of the game therefore your done with inputs.

Im new at running RE3, is there a way to get lets say 3 videos side by side showing Jill running with Disco and 2 other costumes. I was thinking about doing it myself but my movement is not consistent, also I was thinking a video like that would help define Jills "Disco" movement speed. An idea that popped up because I know your a expert at this TheNevs.
N64 has not been tested alot, currently I dont own a N64 and barely seen much game play from that console. I only played PS2 version so far and still learning new things. Later in the future I want to use emu and see the difference bc i know PS2 last boss doesnt have a life bar but N64 does.
Going inside the warehouse would be a safe strat if i remember and you would only go to the warehouse if you obtained the micro uzi for the PPK so warehouse is depending on how the runner wants to deal with their run. And for emulator if we choose to the difference of time we just choose a emu thats accurate to hardware or can be pretty close to what were looking for.
Hope this helps because I love running Parasite Eve and I did dish out $200 for top times and I know not everyone has the luxury to do that. But what if we added a rule for emu where you loose -3:00mins because of the time difference, if there is a way where you can add your RTA and I'll call it, your Leader board time which is your RTA minus the time difference of PSTV/PSP time. We could put it under IGT I suppose. If it really is 3:00 mins difference of emu vs PSTV/PSP we can always test and see how the difference is. All up to the community and the mods really but it would not split up the boards, people can run it on emu and compete for top time. If worse case then just split the boards between PSTV/PSP and Emu would be best.

Hello hope your well. I was wanting to be a moderator for Nightmare Creatures. https://www.speedrun.com/nmc . The last speedruns for that game was for individual runs which was done 1 year ago. I have tried DM'ing the moderator through SRC and Twitter and Twitch but I have not received a reply. Nightmare Creatures is empty of all categories and I would love to work on it to fill it up with runs.
Sorry if this is late...… for New Game, no cutscenes are to be skipped, the AMV, or even the story cut scene cannot be skipped. The rule was applied to make the New Game category like a 1st time casual playthrough but as a speedrun. In Any% category you skip ALL the cutsceenes
There are currently no guides right now, I am trying to work on them espiacilly for the Any% New Game because that's the Math Speedrun. Any% can be easily learned bc all you need to do is beat Chapter 1, 2 with only Bolt1 and Bolt2 with Magic Attack Up and then follow the video for Chapter 3 and 4 for the unit placements and their turns. If you have any other questions im always here :)
I'm currently trying to get a hold of the moderator for "Final Fantasy Tactics War of the Lions" for adding new categories to the game. Been almost 2 days and cant find a way to reach him/her. I have done a "glitchless" World Record last month, but this month a "glitch AI only " run took over the record, and I feel its unfair since it is a different category overall. Can someone please help me with this subject.
