So it's cool if we show it after a run? Would it be acceptable if after it shows the game completion time, I reset my PS2 with the recording still going and open the disc tray to show the driver?

The only reason I ask is because I like to set my sprint to square and action button to X. If I have to show the driver before the run, this will require me to physically reset the PS2 (and set the controls) every time that I reset, which as you can imagine, makes missing the Barry glitch that much more painful when I realize that it just wasted 3 minutes of my life instead of just 1.

Ahh ok, thanks for the heads up Liv. I was comparing Albirex's run to Bawks and it looks like their hardware runs at about the same speed. Well shit, looks like I'll have a full collection of NTSC-J PS2's by the end of this.

Thank you for your response StevenMayte! I didn't know about that, but that will definitely help me out. It looks like mine is an SCPH-70000, so I'm guessing the 90K is the faster one? Sigh looks like I need to get a 3rd Japanese console just to get the WR back lol. It's all good though, I know with my execution I can definitely get it back if we're on a level playing field!

Hey RE1 community. I run Jill any% with major glitches on console and was wondering if someone could help me with an issue I've noticed with my load times. Until a couple months ago I had the world record in this category. I ran it on the US, dual shock directors cut version which I am aware is not the fastest version of the game, so I completely understood when my time was beaten on a Japanese console. However, I bought an NTSC-J PS2 as well as the Japanese directors cut version of the game and I am noticing that the load times for all doors and stairs are slower on my version of the game than on the version that has the world record. I am not trying to accuse anyone of anything, but I am just wondering if there may be some way to overclock my PS2 or if maybe I am still playing on a slow version of the game. To demonstrate my point, I have made a youtube video where I compare the runs. I have linked the video below. If anyone has any ideas I would really appreciate any and all feedback! Thanks!

Hey Lune.Fran, to answer your second and third questions, an any% allows you to use any item you find while a low% is the lowest % possible meaning NO items used or picked up in any levels. As far as the difficulty goes, that's your choice, I have a run up that isn't very good where it is on easy. I'm thinking we should just make hard the required difficulty OR make separate normal and hard mode clear categories. Any opinions on that?
