I could do a little guide for it tomorrow for Nvidia. Dont know about AMD but it should almost be the same as the Nvidia controlpanel.
Need to install the Mediakite version and hope that I get lag on the first try otherwise I'll try to create it. I never thought that I would actually try to cause issues to the game, always been the other way around. lol
Windows 7 64 bit Intel Core i7-4790K 8GB RAM NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970
I used to have major lag in RE3 and the options i had to choose from ingame was RGB Emulation, GTX 970, GTX 970 and GTX 970. non of the options didnt help and the extra options were all disabled.
They way i fixed it was going into my GPU controlpanel and create a specific profile for RE3 and then set all the options to "Best Performance". Some of the options had to be set to "Best Quality" cause there were some graphical artifacts in the game other wise.
So if you've tried everything else then try to setup a specific profile in your GPU controlpanel.

I feel that im not the right person to be a super mod for the entire Resident Evil Series.
However if we're going to have super mods for each specific game then im up for RE2 sense thats the game i've been most active and focused on.
Carcinogen - appreciate your inputs. However we will probably need your inputs again for the next subject after this thread. Until then, take care.
Carcinogen - If the majority dont want a leaderboard that is mixed with turbo and non-turbo runs, dont you think that we should do something about it?
If we leave this alone like its been done before its just gonna come back again so something must be done
chuckorita: createing a seperate leaderboard for turbo is a solution that we might have to do. The only problem is that in Resident Evil there isnt just one category for the game but far to many already. in RE2 we have 4 scenarios + different difficulties which is atleast 8 leaderboards for only Any%. adding a turbo section would multiply the existing leaderboards by 2.
Banning something one can do ingame without TAS shouldnt be the solution to this. Just ban TAS and if this makes it harder to determine if someone uses turbo for quickshooting in the future then so be it.
If we decide that there will be a new leaderboard then its gonna be one for Turbo use NOT the other way around.
Turbo falls under TAS, thats not an opinion its by definition.
"Just wonder why they never came out and directly asked for a change then, really."
I cant remember that there were any forums to discuss Yoshi's run when he got his 44:06 and the RE "community" has always been in groups until recently (well its still slowly grows to one community), but I always considered Insane to be the WR holder and I was not alone.
You make a good point thou about being wrongly accused and I would like to find a solution for that
If someone wanna use Turbo/Macro then they are free to do so aslong as they dont add the runs to the same leaderboard with non-Turbo/non-Macro. Create a seperate category or put it up on a different website.
