Excellent work everyone! I’m stoked to try it still! Just happy it’s doable because this is my favorite challenge/category. Laser site helps your cross hair focus much quicker. I believe you do more damage with a focused cross hair. Or maybe a higher chance to crit? Not sure but it definitely helps the crosshair focus much faster.

@kniferun I didn’t even consider that. I was using knife for boxes! LMAO! But I agree with you.

@CursedToast I did a run with coins and samurai... definitely doable. Never saved it though. I was trying to figure it out with New Game only.

Also... is that voice @CursedToast? :) Can’t wait to try again now! Thanks @WhamBam_TV AGAIN! Motivated to give it a try!

I didn’t know it was banned I just thought it was too out of the way for memer Leon, and yeah Claire does get that upgrade, I wonder what rules they’ll come up with. Still trying with no magnum lol

Nice SpeedIdol. I like your spots to lower DA with boss fights. I thought about using magnum too but could never even get that far. It’s a handgun, so it should still count... I guess we never got the magnum in RE2R because it would add so much time and also bot really necessary either. Nice run.

Reaves I just beat him but barely... Finished fight with 0 bullets. I got all upgrades prior to fight. Started fight with roughly 150 bullets. Also I made sure not to equip extended magazine until the pistol itself was out of bullets which gives you 33 more bullets.

Even if it can be done, should a boss fight really take 20 minutes +?

Christa, up until now I didn't realize the Samurai's Edge was just an upgrade and not the infinite pistol. Maybe this category is still viable with that pistol? Not sure, but hope to test it soon. If not, I guess the Infinite MUP would be our only option. FeelsBadMan... Has anyone else had luck testing things out?

Not sure if going for Moderator upgrade is the way to go either. I went through so much ammo trying to get it. Honestly not sure if I'd even have enough ammo for flame thrower nemesis at that point let alone 2nd nemesis which has been the issue. Has anyone else gotten the moderator upgrade during their run? Let me know, still trying to see if this category is even possible without any leniency.

Thanks everyone for replying and getting involved. It's nice to see I'm not the only one trying this insane category lol. Ivkaexe, I'm having the exact same issue. Only one upgrade at the moment (laser sight). This has been helping me get focused cross hairs quicker for head shots. That said, I'm still having the same problem. I run out of ammo at roughly 50%. I get him to the wall phase, but when he climbs up on top of the tower, or on a wall, I can't do enough damage to knock him off. (I believe if you do knock him down, that allows you to shoot whatever the heck is popping out on the floor)

Christa, I think if they allowed us to use Jill's samurai edge, we'd be fine then. My argument for not making it NG+ is there is some precedent for allowing an infinite weapon already. Something similar was allowed for RE2 REMAKE. Knife only Hardcore was allowed to use the infinite knife because it was damn near impossible to have enough knives to beat the game due to durability issues. Hopefully the same can be agreed upon due to lack of ammo and pistol damage issues.

I'd like to keep doing this category, but at the moment it doesn't seem possible even on standard. (Not enough ammo) I'm going to keep trying, I also haven't tried with all pistol upgrades. But is there any possibility the infinite pistol can be allowed?
