I've done Any% All Glitches runs on controller before by mapping the alt key to a controller via joy2key, but now I'm trying to switch to keyboard and the alt glitch won't work in certain situations.

When I'm just standing and pressing alt it works every time and when I'm at full running speed it usually works too, but trying to press alt and a directional key shortly after or at the same time, the game won't freeze. This usually happens standing on a single tile and trying to alt glitch. My other key binds are shift for sprint, z for jump and the arrow keys as directional keys, but I tried different key bindings and still had the same issue. I also tried windowed and fullscreen mode, but nothing worked.

Do other people have this issue or am I the only one? Any help would be appreciated.

Since 1 Char is the only category where you can choose what character to use I thought it would be nice to have a variable for it so you can easily see the characters being used just by looking at the leaderboard and can also compare times between individual characters. That's all, feel free to share what you think.

The speedruns being done right now are obviously not comparable to speedruns of the fully released game and with the game constantly being updated there are always new factors that can potentially increase or decrease the run time.

I thought to keep a better comparison we could add a variable for the version the run was done on. Maybe only the general version such as v0.4 instead of v0.4.4, as I see there are a lot of small patches.

This was just a thought I had and I can see how this could be unnecessary with so few runners on the board and no major changes made, so definitely don't feel like you should add this just because I suggested it. I assume there will be a leaderboard wipe when the game is fully released anyway, so this would just be as an overview until then.

Feel free to share any thoughts concerning version differentiation.

Hello, if anybody reads this, great.

I added this game to speedrun.com and am pretty much the only runner of it, so I wasn't sure what categories should be added. Right now I've only added the obvious Any%, though it makes sense to add another category where you collect the condiment for every level. I wasn't sure what to call that category, so I didn't put anything yet, since 100% would not be an accurate name for it.

There are a lot of different category combinations possible for this game, including whether or not to collect the condiment, Hard difficulty, co-op mode, shared death co-op, so if I added all of that it would just be a huge cluster of categories nobody cares about.

So if anybody is interested in running this game and would like to suggest a category or category name here, I would be more than happy to add it.

Another note, for the ILs you need to collect the condiment, since that's pretty much how the game handles it as well, you need to collect it in order for the game to save your time, though if there is any request for it at all I could add an Any% category for ILs as well.

I recently became interested in speedrunning this game, but some aspects of the leaderboard right now are kind of vague in my opinion. I don't know if the speedruns are meant to be done from a clean game file, I'm assuming yes since that's usually how it is for speedruns, but both would make sense for this type of game in my opinion, so maybe there should be seperate categories for it if there is any interest for a New Game+ type of category at all. I personally don't mind if there's only a New Game category though.

Additionally I don't understand why Expert and Extreme are supposed to be excluded from Any%. If the only reason for that being is because they're too difficult then that's not a valid reason in my opinion and seems really arbitrary. Why exactly those two?

The biggest suggestion I would like to make is adding a Level Leaderboard with every level and every difficulty. Maybe even make the Level Leaderboard the default one for this page, because I think this game is laid out really well for ILs, more than full-game runs, especially with the new levels being added every now and then. Also more people would probably be interested to run just a single level instead of commiting to a full 8+ hour speedrun.

If there is any help needed with the moderation of this page, I would be very glad to help out.

Edit: I just noticed that you need to reach a certain rank to unlock the Expert and Extreme difficulty levels, so that part makes sense to me now. Going off of that information I assume all the categories are New Game+ though since you need to be at least rank 60 to do Extreme%, at which point you might as well include it into Any% either way.
