rules have been edited to allow emulated runs for original mode. i personally frame by frame all genesis runs and will easily be able to detect a game being ran at a different speed. if any runs are ran at a different speed than original hardware, then it will be rejected. if any current mods have any input on this matter, please respond.
As long as that's only for Original mode (AKA the only mode that having real time speed would mess with considering menus and such),then I have no problem with it. I'm going back and removing real time from all other runs that don't require it,and we're sticking to ingame timer for the rest. Makes things 100% easier. Same as you said,if there are any issues, please post them.
if it runs faster than original hardware then it will be rejected if submitted to original mode, regardless if its an emulator issue or not.
It is original hardware, just a different version of the cart. Super had multiple different releases on the Genesis/MegaDrive (standalone cart,6-Pak,Mega Games &Triple Score combo carts) of two main Revisions, either REV00,or REV01. What Tenebrae is saying, that if the faster board revision is used,it needs to either be known,or the times need to match up because of the differences.
ok i wasnt aware that there was other multi carts other than the 6-pack that had super hang-on on it.
