Try your best to not stop moving forward during the level:

• Shoot weak enemies that may be in your way
• Get familiar with the scroll wheel shooting mechanic

Other tips to save time:

• Use scroll wheel trick to take down the wooden wall/fence and the plane just after it
• Also use it to take out the first tank, tank shed/house and tank, sword guy, and final boss
• Jump up the incline as it saves about 1.5 seconds as opposed to walking up it
• Learn the level so you can pre-shoot some bullets to save time
• Be mindful of ammo locations and usage
