If you don't know, Swapping out a weapon or pressing 1(Or whatever you put the weapon on) and immediately equipping it again cancels the bolt action animation when you fire it and allows you to fire again. It effectively turns the bolt action rifles and crossbows into semi-auto weapons. This works for Rifles and the Crossbow. This is very helpful against deer and predators and can be the difference between time loss and time save as you'll be chasing a deer for example without this method depending on the situation. Offtopic: The Kukuri knife on console is very powerful as it can two shot animals if you fo it right including bears and Rhinos and a must have for when wolves come near you and you're hunting near a deer. It is reduced to 6 hits on the PC version. I assume this also works on Xbox and ps2.
