I was able to find an even faster way that Mulbruk refined so that you don't even have to leave the docking bay. If you springball towards the ceiling and unmorph, Dugon's head pokes through the ceiling for a few frames. If you position yourself just right, you can scan Luka's console almost immediately. As a bonus, you can also leave immediately, as you don't need to fight the zyphoid.
