In the WR for all sports, bowling was exited before the ball dropped from the gutter, therefore the sport was never finished. https://imgur.com/a/w8YlP Just wanted to bring it to your attention.
And here we have another great reason why WSR is better than WS, there isn't that rule. You can leave as soon as the ball hits the gutter. Luv explains it in this post here: https://www.speedrun.com/wsr/thread/0equp But to quote:
"Bowling - You can exit after you know you didn't knock all the pins on the second roll on the tenth frame. So, I would suggest gutter balling on both rolls on the 10th frame. On the second roll, you can exit after you see the ball land in the gutter; you don't need to wait for the ball to roll all the way to where the pins are."
It counts as a finish anyways because it was on the end of the second roll and it was in the gutter. In OG Wii Sports, the timing is clarified like that because Former WR runners happened to quit at “mercy rule” for baseball and “finish” for bowling and they didn’t want any inconsistencies.
Ah, thanks for clarifying. Its kinda annoying that the rules are different between wsr and ws.
