How to boost slide effectively

First, what is a boost slide
To put it simply, a boost slide is where you boost, and then slide. This can be done by either boosting on the ground or in the air, and then pressing down and kick at the same time.
When should they be used
Any time that you can fit one in you should try it.
Some good uses:
 - Boost slide on the train for metro pass - this will then mean you can jump off the train early
 - You need to boost slide in order to beat the biker
 - In the sewers you can do lots of boost sliding and bouncing on the spiky enemies to get through it quickly

What the special modifiers mean

These are the sub categories that are present for all runs
AlmostGlitchless: This means only glitches that cannot be avoided and aren't done on purpose. These glitches also shouldn't save more than half a seccond. Only reason its almost glitchless instead of glitchless is because the game is still in development and therefore has some glitches
Glitched: This means skipping small sections of the game, such as a mega jump to the metro pass, or a mega jump to soul
CrazyGlitch: This means skipping full sections of the game through mega abuse - see a dashless run
CanBeHit: The normal
No-Hit: Cannot be hit.
