Yes this is a known glitch that is banned in runs

The autosplitter is now official on LiveSplit! Just select the game and activate it. Click on settings to change the splits settings.

I've created an autosplitter for the game, as well as requested for it to be official, so it automatically loads when you select the game in LiveSplit.

Here are all you need:

• asl-help, copy this into the Components folder in the LiveSplit directory: https://github.com/just-ero/asl-help/raw/main/lib/asl-help

Then, in your LiveSplit layout, add a Scriptable Auto Splitter, then browse the .asl file (not asl-help). The autosplitter will start automatically after selecting a difficulty. It can also reset automatically when you go back to main menu (but you can disable that). It will stop at the right timing, after clicking "Continue" after beating the final boss.

You can configure the autosplitter to split after some specific levels. By default, it splits after each bosses (level 13, 26, 39 and the final one, 52).

So for 100% category, I think it should be better named "All Flawless" or something like that, instead of just "100%". I mean 100% is not bad, it's just that it's easier to understand and to get what to do when written as "All Flawless" but I would totally understand if it was named 100%.

The run would end on final boss after getting all other level flawless (and final boss flawless of course).

An another category idea: All Spare Parts (basically at least All Silver, or just 100% but in Easy mode, not hitless)

So I was just thinking, wouldn't be a good idea to have all 52 levels as ILs? That way, we can have multiple categories for each levels (Any% Easy, Any% Normal, All Bolts Easy, All Bolts Normal (Flawless))

I feel like there will be a huge difference between Easy and Normal/Insane. At some point the leaderboard will only have Easy in the top 10 or so. But for the beginning I can see that being a variable.

And I agree with RTA. This game doesn't seem very hard to run on any PCs, there shouldn't be loading differences, but we'll have to see I guess!

I don't know if this has been discussed, but what are the future of Bzzzt's full run categories?

To me, the most obvious ones would be:

• Any% (with or without separation of difficulties, because Easy would be faster than Normal/Insane)
• 100% (All Flawless)

Timing could be IGT, I can work on a autosplitter for Livesplit that will keep track of only IGT if needed.

Also, do you plan to add ILs leaderboard too?

Update: I've made a All Bosses TAS:

The most "glitchly" thing about it is the animation of the dragon's wing tip. This is what allows you to get a ton of speed. If the animation were to be "normal" or slower, you wouldn't be able to get that much speed.

Also, if you "fix" this "glitch", then you wouldn't be able to jump from Drone to Windmill for example because you wouldn't have intertia anymore (that's what happening with the dragon as explained above).

How can verifiers verify your run if it's not on the internet?

Also Speedrun.com probably doesn't have the servers to just host thousands of videos on their site but even so, uploading it to YouTube or Twitch will be way easier and way faster.

If you want to give a video file to someone you'll have to upload it somewhere first, that's how data works.

I don't think it will be interesting to see because it will basically one shot every boss. The game can probably receive 60 keys per seconds (or more) so a single phase takes like 1 or 2 seconds.
