Hi ScioN - Dune 2 was basically the first RTS, so it lacks a lot of things you see in later games. There's no click and drag to select multiple units, they have to be commanded one at a time. That makes it a challenge if you're coming from later RTSes for sure, but with pretty basic AI it's an easy game to win once you learn how it plays.

Awesome, thanks Eino (I think I've commented on your runs on Youtube before!) - I'll submit it today.

I'm already running it at a set 12k cycles, which is about the balance I've found I like for scrolling speed - it might be related to me screwing up fixing the copy protection, so for future runs I'll start with a fresh copy of the game and go from there. Hoping to do a new run sometime in the next few weeks :)

I've just improved my Atreides campaign run time from 5 and a half hours to a 4:08:32, but had a weird slowdown and audio glitch towards the end and had to save, close and restart the game - the video (with the game restart timestamped) is here:

As there's no verification at the moment on Dune 2 runs, I wanted to run this past the community - is this considered a valid run? Despite the restart, would you consider this "one session"? It won't affect the leaderboards (I'll still be in 3rd place, since this run is still 12 minutes behind schemax in 2nd) but I'd still like to post it here as this run was a pretty big effort and achievement for me.
