Oh yeah, I totally forgot we made an "All Stars" category because this issue was brought before. No Hit category would require manual review of every stage because as per the rules, you must complete each level without being hit once. I don't think that needs to include perk damage or damaging yourself, personally.
Although I'm not sure if we should even keep the "No-hit" category as it is, to be honest. If the game says ending the level with full health is enough to get the no-hit star, then that, in theory should be a full no-hit run.
Yeah, if the rules require each stage to be manually checked for any hits in a full-game run that's just impossible to moderate. As long as the no-hit star is achieved, which would be a no-hit stage completion per the game's own definition, then it should be allowed on the no-hit leaderboard.
I want to go back in time when the top three were SM64, OoT and Super Metroid instead of the top 100 being mobile and web games
Don't forget the Roblox games.
If anyone is still running this game or active on here, would anyone be interested in me adding categories for each chapter? Running the full game can be quite tedious and I think doing individual chapters might make it a little more interesting.
Also wondering if I should put it in the full-game leaderboards or the level leaderboards. Level leaderboards is what makes sense but just asking for input!
I think for what we do now the current system should work, In the interest of not making it too complicated. Because until the time comes where someone truly does beat the entire game pure hitless, the difference in getting the star or actually doing stages hitless is pretty minute IMO.
Yeah I believe that just having the star at the end makes it less complicated for everyone but if people who run the game disagree then please let me know what you think.
@MysteryGamer490 Yeah I agree, just seems dumb when he's using the paused time to get information in the run. At that point it's the same as if he started the timer 2 minutes into the run.
Please make sure we can confirm whether or not the run was actually played in hardcore as there is no indication on the level end screen (I think).
I'm going to let the original moderator decide on this one but I'd assume no hits at all in the run, regardless of level resets. Though this would make runs very hard to moderate as you'd have to watch the entire thing.
qwerty -> qwerzy -> qwuzzy. My brain kinda just made it a few years ago and I've stuck with it. At least it's unique but streamers are never able to pronounce it.
The WR has some sort of trick where after getting coins from a chest he gets a huge boost of height somehow and it's not explained anywhere.
Thank you, ChutacoackoPlayz, for your benevolent knowledge.
