To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Consume_Pie's run of Level 7: Flawless Spire (Tower) + Static Mind - Complete Level Boss From Game Start. The humor is extremely subtle, and without an extensive knowledge of Chirpy Reverie speedrunning, most of the gameplay will DDJ right over your head. The mistakes in the run are a reference to Keiron Travis' livestreams, where like Pie in his 1:37:59, he too gets distracted in full-game runs to practice alternative routes. Chirpy dying in all of the worst places, on every spike in every level, combined with the genuine display of Reverie tech skill, has perfect comedic timing throughout the run, subverting the viewer's expectations with every crouch jump. There's also Chirpy's signature catchphrase, "It's chirpin' time!", which isn't said at all in the run, since Speedrun Mode turns off the in-game dialog. In fact, not a single word is spoken in the run until level 5, when Pie says "here we go", as he would in a genuine full-game run. Saying "are you kidding me?" in the Eryn fight after walking straight into a spear makes it seem for a brief moment that the run is being taken seriously as an any% attempt. This joke is expanded on in the video's description - "this run sucks". Objectively, an any% run over one and a half hours is a rather casual time, even though it is completely acceptable - if not encouraged for comedic effect - in Tower from Game Start.
Using only the microphone on his laptop, and a window capture of a browser playing Chirpy Reverie, Consume Pie's genius unfolds over the course of what can only be described as the pinnacle of Tower from Game Start.
However, he plays with the "up is jump" setting turned on.
btw if you used regular Scratch for this run, you should probably try TurboWarp. it runs the game faster.

nobody has ever run it, it's not actually possible to time without doing half a full game run first, and it's not even a level. it's the first quarter of void (i will be back soon with another awesome suggestion)
