not sure probably hardware, i don't have a great rig, but i do have a sata ssd, which probably makes the loading a lil smoother.
the problem with cutting loading screens its hard to accurately do so humanly, we would need to create an autosplitter of some sort that automatically does said loading screen cuts. unless we find someone thats willing to make one , i feel like its more accurate and fair to keep the board RTA.

Any% = the fastest possible way of beating a game, glitches included, it's just weird to me that that's on a misc. tab, although I understand your reasoning. My suggestion for the leaderboard is quite simple, adding a tab on each difficulty for OOB Also would like to request Hard OOB be added as I have routed it out and plan on grinding it for a bit.
considering running this, i have 1 major question though, why is Any% (easy oob) a misc. catagory? makes little sense.
true, at the time i had not added ng+ as a catagory just yet, corrected now. thanks for pointing that out.
i mean the title is "moderator what the hell?" and he made no effort whatsoever to contact me? The game has had 0 interest for the longest time and now that people are deciding to actually run it, i'm willing to add things, but don't start an attack thread when you have made NO effort to contact me to discus anything. Rules will be up for any% and NG+ shortly. Hard will be added when a run is submitted, and IL's will need a moderator recruited because i have no interest in moderating IL's. I hope this awnsers questions and settles concerns.
excuse me? You might want to actually contact me and discus things before making a ridiculous forum post. The reasons the catagories aren't up is because there are no runs. submit something and the catagories will be added. As for level/stage catagories i don't feel like the game has enough runners for that to be added and also not willing to make this a "free wr game".
l+r as far as i know is not allowed in any shape or form on nes runs, because it can't be achieved with an actual nes controller. And in some cases doesn't actually do anything on actual hardware but achieves things when emulating.

i don't run this game, but here's my 2cents. It's really not uncommon for runs to get verified without being watched, i have also encountered this on a handfull of boards, to begin with it really fucks with the integrity of the leaderboard. There's also lots of cases where runs are only watched if they beat a certain time criteria. I understand the point this guy is trying to make but he's going about it the wrong way. In conclusion he does have a point, a video with the fceux play button on it making it through the cracks is kinda unacceptable. But cheating and expecting not to get banned is also hillarious.
i've made this easy and painless, I'm no longer the mod for this game, sum1 else feel free to take over.
so personal opinion doesn't matter is what you're saying?. I as a mod think those runs are bogus so i'm not verifying them, call it twin galaxies call it what you like, I gave my reasoning as to why i think those runs are bogus and why i don't trust the players submitting those runs, if thats not enough for you I don't know whats going to be, and this is the last I will input on this discussion. again feel free to become a mod and verify them yourself.
