That's a fancy jump I must say.
Seeing as the discussion kinda died (not sure if it was even alive...), I want to bring this up again. I did a run of it yesterday (which was pretty fun tbh) and will keep doing them from time to time, so the problem with people running it only when it'll exist on the leaderboards is gone, kinda. I also done a standarized save if people would want to use it. So pretty much everything is sorted out...
I also still want to hear some other opinions, I'm honestly curious what you fine people have to say about this idea.
I was thinking about the rules a bit, with timing starting when you start the first race and ending when you finish the last race.
Although about the save or new game... I'm not sure, a standardized savefile sounds good, but I don't know how would people like it. There's also a run of this category already existing, Redlof done it, that's where I got the idea from.
I feel like an All Tournament Races category would be fun (for me at least). There's already an 'All Horseshoes' category that almost no one runs.
What do you people think?
If you have good aim with a mouse you can be better than someone with a controller. This game's autoaim is pretty bad, so I'm not sure how you can 'abuse' it.
Could I get invited, please?
Yea, RunnerHAWORTH's saves are for Steam. You could use gtasnp.com or some other program to convert them to 1.0 .
You thought this meme is dead? Well, you were wrong!
I suddenly got reminded this thing existed and after watching Mh's race on the mod I decided to release a patch that changes some missions to make them harder (and breaks Guardian Angel even more OneHand ), adjustes some handling values and completely changes Cheetah's handling to make it harder to drive.

I'm curious how long this version will take people to complete. OneHand
Could I get my name changed to 'hoXyyy'? Thanks in advance.
I've been trying to do a 'The Ballad of Rocco' and I've been wondering if the use of the Railgun is allowed in those runs. What's the opinion on this?
So, as I have a free evening, I decided to use my limited SCM coding skills to edit the missions a bit, to make them harder. I also fixed some things that made some missions unbeatable, although there still can be unbeatable missions though.

I'll also add this link to the first post.
And about disabling replays, I couldn't find anything on it, sorry.
Yea, now that you're saying this, it makes sense. And about disabling replays, I'm not sure if that's even possible, I'll have to check that though.
Well, the mod is compatible with both international and japanese versions, so if somebody doesn't want to play the mod on the japanese version, they can just install it on the international.
Umm... actually I didn't touch the main.scm file at all, since I wasn't sure what I could change and I'm pretty sure I would need to do all the changes twice, for the international version and the japanese one.
Thanks for the kind words!
And since I have nothing better to do, I also made a pack of 11 songs that should fit just fine with the winter atmosphere.

Just throw the 'mp3' folder to the game folder, and better remove what was there before...
I got the songs from sites that say that the music is royalty-free, non-commercial and stuff like that, if anybody is interested.
Alright, I know what was wrong, something screwed up with gta3.img while packing the files.
I fixed that + made the mod compatible with the Japanese version.

I also updated the first post with this link.
I don't have access to my computer atm, I'll check out what's wrong tomorrow. I'm not exactly sure what could I forgot to pack.
I'm guessing you guys are running the Japanese version? I haven't tested it on that, that's actually my bad. Unless I packed something wrong, which could be the case, since everything works fine for me on my local English version.
