i was having trouble learning entr's moon manip. i kept getting a geodude encounter after grabbing the rare candy, on the same y-axis as the trainer, every time. i think it's because i was holding right to make the movement execution after grabbing water gun easier, and some of the other movement leading up to that point. i did some trial and error finding something that worked for me, until i could get to post-hiker paras. there are only 2 A presses after grabbing the escape rope. i'm assuming something like this is already known, but i thought i'd share. i don't know how consistent it is IGT-wise, but i tested it 10-ish times without encounters.
