Why is there a platform labelled as simply "Oculus VR"? What device is this platform referring to? There are already platforms listed for a number of different Oculus headsets. Is this supposed to be a catch-all for the handful of Oculus headsets that don't currently have categories (such as the Go and Quest Pro)?
A while ago, I was working on a route with the goal of obtaining the most items possible. Normally, this would be trivial: four. However, there are a number of "weightless" items that do not actively contribute to the 4-item cap. Last time I tried, I was able to reach a maximum of nine items: four normal items (which happened to be the sword, shield, bomb, and obviously, the hookclaw), the map, the compass, Mr. Hugs, Protoventure (the card game item you collect during ending 101), and the Princess. I've also considered trying to go for the Dark Stone or Burger, but since you'd need to collect both before the Princess, and both have their own routing problems (the time restraint of the Burger vs the "no light" requirement of the Dark Stone) I never tried them. I feel like this has merit as a potential speedrun category. It could be either an extension of 150%, or you could start from a postgame save file. Thoughts?
Quite simply, the Oculus Quest is not present in the list of devices. I feel it should be added, as it is a relevant VR platform.
Hi. I'm crimsonDestroyer. I'm more of a speedrun router than a speedrunner, but I'm here and trying some runs regardless. I mostly do VR stuff, specifically The Under Presents. Looking forward to being a part of the community.
