PC version is a port of the original game. Only Director's Cut versions on console have Arranged Mode. Like Steven said, it's under the console boards.

Oh nevermind, I think I see what you mean. During the 60 FPS in status screen, the IGT ticks 30 times, skipping every other frame instead of ticking 60 times on every frame. That is fine with us as long as the time is the same IGT-wise.

So in other words the IGT counts in twice as many increments but still runs at the same speed right? I just need to know that the fix won't cause time to be gained or lost in speedruns compared to the way we have been running the game before this DLL fix.

Thanks for all the work man. Just a quick question about the in-game timer bugfix. What exactly is different when you say the timer runs at the proper speed while entering the status screen? I am only concerned with the speedrun side of things and in-game timer changes can be a major issue for us and the history of the game's competitive times on our leaderboards.

Good to hear. Biosoft is flawed and will crash for everyone. Always use Biohard if you can. As long as Biohard works, you're good. Have fun and enjoy.

Often times the game will run slow unless you have a video player or OBS running in the background. I have no idea why but try having either OBS if you stream or a youtube video paused in the background.

Also, if you're interested in warpless, I'd suggest watching my run. It's quite a bit different from the regular any%. Also, check the guides as there are a couple of things I found that aren't in my current PB.

Depends on the category. I'd suggest watching runs and seeing the strats people use. There are a few variations of knife and bazooka strats used in runs.

Capcom decided it would be a bad idea to remove autoaim cancel for PC version.....so they did it anyway :p

It's theoretically possible but has never been done. Plant 42 like Witch said would be one of the hardest parts due to RNG. Yawn 2 would also be a very tough fight with no damage taken. But knifing your way through the game without pause cancel isn't too hard if you're not worried about taking damage along the way.

Good point Steven. Input display is a rule for emulation. The sound is known to do that with psxjin so that is normal for everyone to experience. You will also hear that when the final in-game time comes up at the end of your run. If that is the only thing that is wrong, I would recommend using psxjin. Remember to enable input display.

It is something we can consider. I'll have a chat with the mods about it soon. Keep in mind though, since psxjin loads faster, to run on either of these other emulators would put you at a massive disadvantage.

What does the error message say? Make sure you aren't trying to load the PC version ISO with the emulator. No you can't make save states on PC version unfortunately.

Yes jumping down the hole is probably what makes it consistent since it is the fastest way to get down.

It depends what sharks you are talking about. For the first 2 sharks, it is consistent based on your pace getting there. There is one shark later in the level that seems to get me from time to time. He is too low to pass without getting hit. I haven't figured him out yet but I assume they are all based on time and positioning when spawning them.

Yes the autosplitters were recently updated to split the end automatically. Just redownload the .asl files again and you should be ready.
