This would be a run with no interesting gameplay where basically every run would have to be retimed to the frame in order to accurately determine placement. It just doesn't seem worth the effort.
There appears to be significant lag on the "rejected runs" queue, where only runs rejected over two weeks ago appear. The main game I moderate uses a bot to automatically reject certain runs so it would be nice if they appeared immediately so we know if it's incorrectly rejecting runs.
Don't waste your energy, we're not likely to support port speedruns. But like I said, don't let it stop you from speedrunning if you'd rather keep using the port over EMU or one of the console releases. Going to lock this thread.
We entertained the idea of adding a pc port subcategory. We'd have liked to have a vanilla as possible "speedrun" version of the port to require ppl to use for submissions. In the end we decided it's not worth the effort for an unofficial release of the game. Feel free to speedrun the game however you want though, don't let the leaderboards stop you.
Not sure if it's worth 3DAS making their own ce lbs and personally i wouldn't mind if ppl submitted here just know that you have no access to gameshark codes and that you cant beat the game with less than 70 stars so youre very disadvantaged. If you don't mind that handicap then by all means submit runs.
30 star runs arent a problem since you dont beat the game anyways.
The leaderboards evolved that way from like 2014? onwards, platforms that run similarly are grouped together. Unless something has changed, I believe each of the SMS/SMG/SM64 communities are hosting their 3DAS runs on the 3DAS leaderboards. It just seemed easier to do it that way.

You were part of the group that tried to raid the voice call, you had joined the server for the first time minutes before and the account you used no longer exists as far as I can tell. You can appeal the ban by asking nicely and seeming earnest about wanting to rejoin
this is a better conversation for the category extensions forum, you should consider spamming the forums a bit less in general though.
PSS and island hop are not fast vs both stars in WF. The average length of the stars are roughly the same between the two (island hop, pss OR whomp king, tower) however the door opening animation for the slide makes it slow. Trust me people have thought about this, also its technically faster to do the best wf100 route over going to ccm at all. This is a better conversation for category extensions, since were trying to "optimize" an already unoptimal route.
don't submit the decimals, they're only used for top times and your livesplit decimals are almost never accurate

It wasn't intentionally leaked, it was very much leaked against the will of the majority of the people working on it. It is likely that it will eventually be it's own subcategory and perhaps timed without loads like some pc games do.
