Hey, just wondering if you're going to get around to adding this game to the Disney series.
If you don't know how to, you can do that here: https://www.speedrun.com/knowledgebase/supporthub/game-adjustment
@Garsh remove @7H3 from my list in the first post in the thread, you got them there twice.
All users that are known for cheating/falsifying runs on the Geometry Dash boards. Some are banned, some aren't:
@7H3 - you know who it is @kostia_982 - faked a 1-8 run (If I remember correctly, no-clip was used) @FireflameGamesYT - cheated a SubZero run @Mikeltxo751 - stole someone else's run @FlubyFans000 - stole someone else's run @mootu - speedhacked a run @BoyYellow - spliced and edited several Meltdown runs in retaliation to me not retiming the run to make them first place @MrCodic - speedhacked a 1-8 run, privately admitted to speedhacking the run. not banned, but definitely can't be trusted @Geometry_dash222 - stole a Meltdown run @RyanFitzmorris - edited a 1-8 run @FaZeEnderCreeper - idk @Ender_Man967 - faked a Google Snake run
That's all for now.
That being said, it would definitely be helpful if modhub had some sort of search function. Like I could search for runs from particular users, runs that were rejected by one mod, or using keywords from rejection reasons (eg. "spam", "faked", etc). GD has up to 40 pages of rejections alone.
@TRLittleToaster Nevermind you win lmfao wtf is this shit
I don't know the worst speedgame, but I do know the worst game I have ever came across. So naturally, it would probably have one of the worst speedruns ever.
Super slow, game mechanics are super confusing, hundreds of collectables, and no clear indication of what you're supposed to do (and if there is one, it's either too obscure or too complicated for me to figure out).
The speedrun.com page for it is also one of the worst ones I've ever seen. The "any%" rules say to finish the game as fast as possible, but the only verified run is someone completing a circus mini-game. Like..... huh?????????????
https://www.speedrun.com/httpmadagascar_3_the_video_game (wtf is this url too)
All of these games have a Disney Afternoon Collection on their respective leaderboards: https://www.speedrun.com/dt#Any_Afternoon_Collection https://www.speedrun.com/dt2#Any_Afternoon_Collection https://www.speedrun.com/chipndale#Any_Afternoon_Collection https://www.speedrun.com/chip_n_dale_rescue_rangers_2#Any_Afternoon_Collection
Might I suggest removing these and just making an "All Games" category?
Slightly off-topic, but dealing with people who decide to spam runs that don't follow the rules is a tad annoying to deal with. But whenever that happens, they usually get a temp. ban from site staff, so really, there's no issue here.
This is the only advertisement I'm going to do for now. Basically, this is a fangame called Mario Drinks A Glass of Milk. It's a short, funny little game where... well, Mario drinks milk (what did you expect?). The controls are a little unintuitive in my opinion (you have to press shift to jump and control to drink), but you get used to it.
Honestly, I had a lot of fun running this. The run is roughly four minutes long. So if you want to chill out and have some silly speedgaming fun, I'd recommend giving this a try.
@Abagur900 No. You are not allowed to do that. You must finish the level.
You can read the game request rules and submit the game here: https://www.speedrun.com/knowledgebase/supporthub/request-game-or-series
Had someone spamming tons of Geometry Dash Meltdown runs a few months ago. They kept spamming runs where they removed load times and claimed WR (we don't do loadless timing on our board). They then later started submitting fake runs where the loads are either sped up, or removed. Then they contacted me, asking me to add loadless timing. I told them no and to stop spamming runs. They eventually gave up.
Why I haven't reported to site staff, I'll never know and it's probably too late to do that anyway.
In my days as a Minecraft (Classic) mod (yes, I was a MCC mod), we would have tons of submissions where people do the run in Java Edition.
As a mod of many Geometry Dash games, we'd have people submit runs for the run Geometry Dash game (eg. Geometry Dash World runs being submitted to the Geometry Dash Meltdown board). Don't know how people could mix these up, but it does happen occasionally.
Aside from those examples, this has never happened on any other board I moderate (thankfully).
