Also last time I checked igt only shows minutes and hours. Could be wrong about that one though

Alright then. No answer is also an answer. Guess DS players can afford another 10 bucks for the steam version ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Finally someone asked this question. I did speedrunning on my DS for a few months, but stopped because there are 2 major problems:

1. Some things are different from the other versions, which disables certain tactics (e.g. the jump before you get the drill) and therefore makes your run slower from the get-go, which is pretty frustrating.

2. Unless you get a capture card (which is extremely expensive) you can't easily record your runs. The only other possibility would be to record the screen, which makes it harder to run if you have a camera in front of your face all the time :/

Possible solutions: For 1.: -open a new ranking for DS runs only

For 2.: -record with a camera anyways, but in a way that it doesn't hinder the run. This would result in really shitty videos tho -do the run live (not possible for everyone and you would have to record it too, so the camera problem still exists)
