I would say NEStopia is the best emulator for this. Also, if you go into fullscreen (by pressing alt+enter), you’ll have minimal input delay.

@Darpey yeah if you get fpg it means you jumped early but won cointoss. at least im pretty sure.

this is probably obvious, if you were on a different console before, the difference in input delay takes about a week or two to get used to, and you may feel kind of hopeless at first, but like I said it takes like a week or two

thats absolutely insane. not sure how many there were when i started speedrunning smb1 in august of 2017, but there were a lot less than 100 lol
