I realised it's amazing to dodge projectiles. The archers can't track you properly. Also, when fighting Kiyomori Taira (2nd final boss) when doing no Kamui runs. The 5 waves of triple homing missiles that he throws at you are extremely difficult to dodge with Benkei consistently. They get literally redundant when using this.

From looking around, I haven't seen this or heard it been mentioned before.

I came across this kind of by accident, messing with the mechanics like I do with most games, then found this and realised this could actually prove useful for manoeuvring with Benkei.
