it's not faster than the other time if u check the board, it's just above it

furthermore, why can you follow people on here? what does that do? just tell u when they post on forums or make posts or smthn?
also what the hell are they doing with markdown? or is just gone? or temporarily disabled? i must've missed the post about it, but atm almost every old post looks goofy
Almost every forum post in the last like 10 years or whatever have relied on old markdown. All of those posts are essentially broken now (including the FAQs thread not showing table of contents [alongside me having to probably update the contents to the new site layout]) because it seems that markdown is either disabled or changed. Can someone explain the new markdown so I can fix my more important threads?
Update: trying to fix all the formatting issues that the new site changes brought:
rip original donor badge, but makes sense why it'd be gone, honestly figured they would've removed it when they bought the site like a year or two ago so I'm just surprised it lasted this long
