If you take recommendations, I'd recommend the MiraBox. I used to use Elgato from reccomendations, but the MiraBox is virtually identical and $100 cheaper. Made a comparison if that helps:

@Feunnec just making it clear, I don't plan on ever banning dolphin, I would just be making a separate board for emulator runs.

@Output I legit don't know of a popular game that allows dolphin, almost all of them are banned, or are like sunshine where you can't submit a dolphin time above a certain threshold

For setting this up, you want something that can stream your phone inputs on a PC and just use OBS. I'd recommend just settings up homebrew and NTR CFW though, lets your stream any 3DS game for free. If you ever decide to do that, here's an up-to-date guide: https://3ds.hacks.guide/

Also being on the actual wii just makes it a bit harder to cheat (not really that insanely difficult). If you have money to spend it becomes even easier too. That being said dolphin is obviously easier, but not really by that much.

@Pear at the time the runs are achieved, I upload them as either WR or PB accordingly, this thread is about updating the YT title from WR once it has been beaten.

@Komrade Could be, however it'd still make it easier (obviously not guaranteed) to detect TAS-like inputs without having the runner doing some either costly or weird stuff

@MrMonsh don't wanna go to handcam, most people running the game atm don't have the money to spend on a separate camera, many are using dolphin because they can't afford even a $40 capture card like the mirabox
