You didn't follow through on what you promised and I don't associate with people like that. Digging around I was able to find 1.0 and 2.1 @ the most popular to¤¤¤¤¤ sites. Tell me where you were able to find it in 5 minutes...The only 1.1 I was able to find was pronounced dead after 7 days of no activity (before I made the post). I see now that there are a couple s¤¤ds. I wonder who those are? =p
I'm kinda urked by the pc category essentially being locked to <=1.1. It's fine if someone runs an obscure game that is rare and expensive for competition to get their hands on. But in this case 1.1 is literally impossible to obtain even if you have a million dollars to spend on the game. It's already been made clear to me that none of the runners here are willing to grant access to 1.1 which I understand: the whole piracy thing and TOS.
But when it comes to removing that exception from the retail version of the game to allow quick jeep kills. There certainly aren't any legal implications of that. I would also argue that the slippery slope argument doesn't hold up being that the rules are set forth by the mods.
Look, I (and probably many others) just want to run this game. Find a way to make it accessible for new runners. Add the mod to resources. Make a new category for full retail. WR's don't mean anything when it's impossible to compete.
