How did you do that Oatchi rush/jump in the first trial? In the very rare cases when I land on the corner long enough to rush towards the sage, Oatchi either goes straight down, or hits an invisible wall before plummeting down. I’ve only managed to reach the sage your way once, and I don’t really know how.
Nice run! I'm guessing the part where you exited the game at 15:58 had something to do with how you beat the final boss with only eight knives. A bug, I assume.
I think that the timer took longer to activate than usual, which is why it started late.

If something unlucky happens and the announcer says “Finish” before you can reset the minigame, are players allowed to choose “Play Again” without having to start the entire speedrun over?
I’m currently trying to speedrun this category, but I have a question. I initially tried selecting specific minigames to begin with like BBB and most of the 1v3 minigames, and then choose random minigames for the rest to save time. But eventually I would come across a minigame that I specifically chose. Does Free Play really allow that to happen?
I believe that if I played perfectly here, ignoring any potential future strategies or extraneous deaths, roughly 40 seconds could be saved. Also, waiting for the spider at 2:38 wastes the most time, compared to the other two spiders shortly after.
