Emulators are currently allowed, but are hidden by default you can search emulator runs by editing the filters.

The moderators (and I think the community) feels that if you're able to find an emulator copy you can probably find a PC copy.

If a person were to submit a run with emulator settings changing load times (see Road Rage emulator load times) then we may have to re-consider this rule.

As the title says I'm experiencing 12-13 second load times on dolphin whereas Saiyanz has 6 second load times in his wr.

are you running windowed mode? you have to run windowed mode if you're using a single monitor set up to see both.

Game was designed to run on PC's from 2003 I highly doubt you won't meet the requirements the main thing for streaming would be a decent internet connection.

Computer hardware is irrelevant as long as you can record/stream your gameplay since there's a load remover so all times won't account for older hardware being slower.

since a lot of people don't seem to know this:

If you enter Android's Dungeon (Android's is probably the most notable but any interior will cause this) before the mission complete scene is complete (when mission warp is available) YOU WILL SOFTLOCK. you will be stuck in the interior with no menu available and unable to move and your run will be dead.

This is most notable after completing 3-1.

So if you forget something in Android's wait for the mission warp to be available or get it later.

that's true and with xinput it would just be allowing a pause function on the controller instead of having to switch back and forth from controller to keyboard.

if there's a pause issue you can also use joytokey to bind the pause button to esc if that would be an allowed mod.

Tested 2 different strats with the above strat

I respawned on the last bend (where you can jump out of the glass on Krustylu on 6-2) and your strat I got above the map sooner in your strat but neither worked.

I think the reason this doesn't work is there is (invisible) checkpoints along the race and when you hit the last checkpoint it will trigger the finishing line.

PC is generally the best version of the game in terms of loads and everything and we have a loadless timer and autosplitter set up on Livesplit.

Any controller should be alright I believe Liquid and Croc use PS2 controller, Pet_Petiguana uses Xbox One(?) (it's Xbox 360 or One I forget) and Cythertime uses Gamecube so whatever you prefer is pretty much what you use.
